‘I Had a King’ is a drama set in 1971 chronicling the story of a young folk singer who is visited by a former partner, years after a painful separation. ‘I Had a King’ is the latest drama from filmmaking duo and Piano Factory Film’s Co-Founder’s Clemente Lohr and Toby Elwes, which explores a variety of pertinent themes, including nostalgia, repressed memories, toxic masculinity and the pervasiveness of buried trauma.
